The Beloved is very excited! She’s off to see Eros Ramazzotti in concert in October.

I don’t mind a bit of Eros from time to time…his songs are a bit too soft-rock for my liking and the “I love you always, forever and there is no other love but you” type lyrics are not really my thing, BUT he has some catchy melodies that get into your head.

Funny story? When I was working in Fiji in 1998, ER and Tina Turner had a duet “Cose Della Vita (Can’t Stop Thinking Of You)” that was #1 on the charts.

For about 3 weeks, this song was played non-stop! It still seems bizarre, all these years later…that an Italian Soft Rock God could be a superstar in the Pacific Islands!
